The current board for USA Dance Willamette Chapter #1006 would like to announce the official change to our chapter’s name. It is now known as USA Dance Portland Chapter #1006. It was felt that our chapter needed a more recognizable name for dancers outside of the State of Oregon. The name of “Portland” identifies our members as being from the City of Portland and its surrounding suburbs and communities and better reflects the location of our chapter. Residents from outside the state will not have to guess where Willamette, Oregon is. Please allow some time as we make the transition from the old name to the new name on our website, newsletter, etc. If you should have any questions or concerns regarding the name change, please feel free to contact any of the current board members.
