Celebrity Dance Camp, Feb 4-6 2011
Dear USA Dance member,
I’m writing to get the word out to Ballroom Enthusiasts about a wonderful new opportunity coming February 4-6 of 2011, the first Celebrity Dance Camp! This will be a three-day dance camp in Burbank, California, with 36 workshops, all being taught by celebrity pros from shows like “Dancing with the Stars” and “So you think you can Dance.” The current line up of teachers includes:

This years River City Ball has come and gone. Another year, another fantastic, fun dance competition! This was truly a success for the Portland chapter of USA Dance! This wonderful competition could not have taken place, not have been as successful as it is, not have run as smoothly, effortlessly, and problem free, had it not been for the dedication of our incredible, super-duper volunteers.
This is a big THANK YOU to ALL of you, those who volunteered to register the dancers, who sat throughout the comp at the snack bar/table, who kept the dancers in line/on time as deck captains, who made sure dancers complied with the dress code, took the cash, checked the admissions, made sure that the adjudicators were comforted. I can go on and on. It is the volunteer that makes for a successful organization host a successful event. Without them, all is lost, for naught.
Well done volunteer. Thank you.
